3. Click Edit and set up the modem device as shown below:

4. Click OK until just the Site Manager screen appears:

Set COM Port = to the computer port that is

connected to the transmitting modem.

Select a Data format and Baud Rate — see “Alpha

and AlphaEclipse sign data formats” on page 13.

Dialing Prefix — if a number, like 9, is needed to get

to an outside phone line, enter the number here.
